Together with our blue-chip investor, we are in the growth phase of the company within Northern Europe. About the role

As Investment Manager you will be a key member of our experienced team. You will help drive the (international) expansion of our business. In this role, you will report directly to and work closely with the Managing Partners of URBZ.
As we are a young and growing business, we are looking for an eager professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, who’s ready to take full ownership of the sourcing and execution of deals. You will work with full autonomy to source urban industrial real estate deals, in the Netherlands and across other geographies in Northern Europe such as Germany and Sweden.
Understanding the growing need for last-mile logistics solutions from an institutional investor’s mindset will be key in this role. Joining us at this stage of our growth, you will have an exceptional opportunity to further build and professionalize our acquisition approach and asset management processes.


What will you be doing?

Acquisitions (+/- 75% of your time)

  • Source and execute real estate transactions. Full-cycle, full ownership, full autonomy
  • Analyse and assess deals, building on the URBZ Standard for our portfolio. Balancing swift assertive action and long-term potential
  • Manage the full acquisition from feasibility studies and underwriting to due diligence process and SPA negotiations (including underwriting and memo preparation)
  • Take part in the review process of (quarterly) external valuations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, owners, authorities, etc.

Asset management (+/- 25% of your time)

  • Together with the AM team be accountable for the realization of the foreseen Value-Add activities anticipated during acquisition and follow up of earlier acquisitions
  • Assist AM team with key customer contacts and commercial discussions such as renewals
  • Proactive analysis of our assets to determine value-add opportunities
  • Stakeholder management for our international investors and outsourcing partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve and maximize the performance of the assets through close relations with tenants
  • Perform hold-sell analysis of the assets throughout their lifecycle

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in the field of real estate, investment or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the real estate sector
  • Experience with full-cycle real estate acquisitions
  • International experience in real estate transactions in Sweden, Belgium and Germany is a pre
  • Strong commercial skills and understanding of the drivers for logistics real estate
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Flexible, proactive, entrepreneurial, and can-do attitude
