Together with our various blue-chip investors, we are in the growth phase of the company within Northern Europe. About the role

As Investment Analyst you will be an important member of our ambitious team. You will help facilitate the (international) expansion of our business and as such be involved in a variety of transactions. In this role, you will report directly to and work closely with the Managing Partners of URBZ.

As we are a young and growing business, we are looking for a driven professional with great analytical skills and a commercial mindset. Someone who’s ready to work independently and take full ownership of underwriting and evaluation of potential deals. This includes assisting in the sourcing, due diligence and structuring of real estate investments. You will work closely with the Managing Partners and Acquisition Managers to source and close urban industrial real estate deals, in the Netherlands and across other geographies in Northern Europe such as Germany and Sweden.

Everything we do is focused on long-term shared value. Understanding the growing need for last-mile logistics solutions from an institutional investor’s mindset will be key in this role. Joining us at this stage of our growth, you will have an exceptional opportunity to further build and professionalize our analysis and underwriting approach.


What will you be doing?

  • Support the sourcing, underwriting and closing of real estate deals, building on the URBZ Standard
  • Maintain and own the portfolio and asset financial model while improving it on an as-needed basis
  • Facilitate the due diligence process including underwriting and memo preparation from start to finish
  • Analyse opportunities to acquire, sell or redevelop individual properties, touring properties as needed
  • Support ongoing portfolio management by analysing long-term performance and risks
  • Take part in the review process of (quarterly) external valuations
  • Carry out in-depth industry research to improve portfolio performance and find new opportunities
  • Produce investor reporting and presentations and take part in investor meetings
  • Proactive deep-dive analysis of our assets to determine value-add opportunities

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in the field of real estate, investment or financial analysis
  • At least 2 years of experience in the real estate or private equity sector in an international setting
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the drivers for logistics real estate
  • Ability to produce qualitative and quantitative investment analysis
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and financial modelling tools
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Open-minded, proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude
