Our future is urban

The increasing pace of urbanization will lead to the integration of urban areas and the expansion of city limits. It imposes higher (sustainability) requirements on the infrastructure around cities. This will have a significant impact on the future of mobility, working life and societies. Urban areas with a higher population density combined with active trendsetters with a growing income are the fundamental ingredients for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Urbanization rates in mature Western European countries are amongst the highest globally and are set to increase even further.
